Edward J. McGowan

A talented software engineer and architect, EJ McGowan is also a skilled leader with a demonstrated track record of motivating his teams to bring complex software offerings to market. He has more than 25 years in the software industry with an expertise in building highly available, highly scalable SaaS based solutions.

Before joining CampaignerCRM, EJ was Director of Engineering for Mzinga.com. He was responsible for the company's technology infrastructure, and led the teams responsible for developing, testing, and hosting Mzinga's on-demand social software solutions.

In his previous role, EJ was Vice President of Engineering for WebEx WebOffice, where he was responsible for product architecture, ensuring product extensibility for both customers and partners. Before that, EJ was Vice President of Engineering at Intranets.com, which was acquired by WebEx in September 2005.

Prior to joining Intranets.com, EJ was a Systems Architect at Lotus Development Corporation. While at Lotus, he worked on every major Microsoft Windows release of Lotus 1-2-3.

Before assuming a position at Lotus, EJ was an International Development Project Leader at Atex, Inc. While there, he built complex, custom classified advertising systems for the international market.

EJ graduated from Tufts University, where he earned a BA in Computer Science.
